Stock and drop orders are tied, packed and shipped as quickly as possible in the order that I receive them; usually within 10-15 business days. If shipping is delayed I will contact you as quickly as possible to let you know why and when I expect to ship you order.
All custom orders require a minumum eight weeks to fulfill unless otherwise noted during the ordering process. You will be provided with an estimated shipping timeframe when you place a custom order.
If you need an order produced and delivered by a specific date, contact me and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs.
CAN I ORDER CUSTOM SIZES, COLORS, PATTERNS, ETC?
I’m happy to tie a custom order to your exact specifications. Pricing for custom orders varies based on size, complexity, and material costs of your order.
Custom orders require a minimum of two dozen flies. Once you place a custom order I’ll tie a sample of any one-off patterns and send you a photograph before proceeding with the order.
Custom orders require a minimum eight week lead time. There are no refunds or returns on custom orders.

WHY IS THE FLY I RECEIVED NOT IDENTICAL TO THE PHOTOS ON THE SITE?
There are two reasons that the pattern you receive may differ slightly from the photos on the site. First, all of my flies are hand-tied and each of my patterns evolve with feedback I receive over time so there may be some small changes between the patterns as they are photographed on the site and the ones you receive in your order. Second, where possible I try to use natural materials with variable coloring that imitates the variegated coloring of most prey species in a way that solid color, dyed materials can’t replicate.
I’ll do my best to keep the photos on the site up-to-date but I promise that any changes made to the pattern will always be based on real feedback with the intention of improving the fishability of the pattern, not for cost-savings.
HOW WILL MY ORDER SHIP AND WHAT WILL IT COST?
Fly orders of $100 or more ship for free via UPS Ground Saver sercive. Fly orders of less than $100 ship for a flat $7.95 fee anywhere in the US. I utilize UPS Ground or Ground Saver in most cases because of UPS’s reliability.
You will receive a Shipping Confirmation email the day your order ships which will include tracking and an estimated delivery date.
CAN I ORDER FROM OUTSIDE OF THE US?
I do not ship internationally.
CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?
Returns for store credit are allowed for items in new condition within 7 days of delivery. Email me at josh@twoaught.com with questions or to request a return.
Absolutely no returns or refunds for custom orders.
I do not offer refunds to your original payment method for any reason due to the nature of the order-to-production-to delivery timeline and the cost imposed on my business by federal excise taxes on sporting goods manufactured in the US. If you have an issue with your order please contact me and I will do my best to make sure you’re satisfied with the outcome.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Email me at josh@twoaught.com to request a cancellation and full refund to your original payment method within five business days of placing your order.
After five business days you may request a cancellation but your refund will be issued as store credit towards your next order. If your order has already shipped please follow the Return instructions above after you receive the package.
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once paid.
MY PACKAGE IS LOST, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You will receive a Shipping Confirmation email the day your order ships which will include tracking and an estimated delivery date.
If the tracking seems to indicate that the package is lost (at least seven days after shipping), please contact me at josh@twoaught.com. I will request a package search from the carrier and keep you up to date on the status of the search. If the package is not delivered after the conclusion of the carrier’s search process I will offer to re-tie the order and ship via an express service or issue a refund to store credit for future use.
