Skiff Anchor Rode

These custom skiff anchor rodes are constructed from 7/16" AmSteel Blue Dyneema 12-Strand rope using locking splices and an integral 5-6' section of marine grade shock cord for a completely streamlined setup. 

The 100% stretch in the shock cord acts as a snubber when you're anchored in a chop making it easier to maintain your balance on the skiff, less likely you'll take a wave over the bow, and more likely your anchor will hold even in rough oceanside conditions.

The completed rodes are 25' or 30’ in length. A separate 7’ extension is available as an add-on. The extension is added to the standard rode with a loop to loop connection when you need extra scope.

A hardware package is available to create a turnkey setup with everything you need to connect to your anchor and go. The hardware package includes a heavy duty stainless snap shackle with quick release lanyard, stainless anchor shackle and a 9” buoy.

Anchor rodes do not qualify for free shipping, I charge a $20 flat rate. Standard rode orders generally take 4 weeks to fulfill, custom rode orders generally take 8 weeks.
