Splayed tail shrimp imitations have a long history in Keys tarpon fishing. While tarpon flies have evolved significantly since many of these were first dreamed up, these classics still have a place in today's high pressure fishery. I've updated the varying original designs to an single pattern designed ride higher, land softer and last longer than the originals while maintaining those classic silhouettes and color combinations.
