I’m happy to tie a custom order to your exact specifications. one of my favorite parts of being a commercial tier is helping customers develop a new fly to solve a problem they encounter in their fishing. 

pricing for custom orders varies based on size, complexity, and material costs of your order but will generally be in line with the cost of similar flies in my catalog. I do not charge extra for designing or modifying a pattern.

custom orders of modified flies from my catalog require a minimum of a dozen flies per size and/or color. custom orders of novel patterns require a minimum of two dozen flies per size and/or color. once you place a custom order I’ll tie a sample of any one-off patterns and send you a photograph before proceeding with the order.

a quick note on modifying my stock patterns: I can change any element of my designs for a custom order but please be aware that I carefully test each design and swapping out hook types or sizes or other parts of the design can effect the overall performance of the pattern (i.e. a fly that was supposed to suspend might float or sink, etc).
