the Glades Deceiver - In Stock

the Glades Deceiver is a riff on a classic Flip Pallot pattern. Flip’s version took the tried and true Deceiver pattern but substituted calf tail for the traditional bucktail to create a fly that sinks quickly. I love the color and profile of the original Glades Deceiver but I don’t have a lot of scenarios that call for a quick sinking snook fly so I switched up a few of the materials and selected a lightweight hook for my updated version. the Glades Deceiver is one of my favorite backcountry juvi tarpon flies. tied about 3” long on a #2 Gamakatsu B10s hook with a single post weedguard.
