the Foxy Bug - In Stock

the Foxy Bug is a very simple but very effective splayed tail tarpon bug. over the years I’ve tied tons of different versions of splayed tail tarpon flies but I only carry the Run Around Sue and this simplified Foxy Bug in my own fly box. this is a great pattern for spooky laid up fish in the backcountry. I tie this one in traditional colors like olive and brown but the Shrimp Pink is a killer in tannin stained water. tied about 3” long on a #1 Mustad C68s hook.
