There are times during their migration when Tarpon are keyed in on Pilchards and not interested in much else. This fly combines the profile and coloring of a Pilchard with more traditional tarpon fly attributes. This is a great fly for clear water just off the beach on either a floating or intermediate line. Tied about 3″ long on a #1/0 Gamakatsu SL12s Short.
