The Foxy Slider is my spin on a south Florida bonefish staple: the Bonefish Slider. Tim Borski’s original Bonefish Slider married a craft fur tail to natural collar and a sparse deer hair head. I kept the deer hair but simplified the body to give it more movement and allow it to land softer in shallow water. The arctic fox tail is stiffened to eliminate the need for a weedguard. Tied on a #4 hook with extra small lead eyes.
