HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Standard orders are produced and shipped as quickly as possible in the order that we receive them. You can find our current lead time at the top of our home page as well as in your order confirmation email. Our production lead time indicates when we expect to start tying your order and we try to ship all orders the same day we finish tying them. If shipping is delayed we will contact you as quickly as possible within the lead time to let you know why and when we expect to ship you order.

All custom orders require eight weeks to fulfill unless otherwise noted during the ordering process.

If you need an order produced and delivered by a specific date, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

CAN I ORDER CUSTOM SIZES, COLORS, PATTERNS, ETC?

We’re happy to tie a custom order to your exact specifications. Pricing for custom orders varies based on size, complexity, and material costs of your order.

Custom one-off patterns require a minimum of six of each pattern and size. Once you place a custom order we’ll tie a sample of any one-off patterns and send you a photograph before proceeding with the order.

Custom orders require an eight week lead time. There are no refunds or returns on custom orders.

WHY IS THE FLY I RECEIVED NOT IDENTICAL TO THE PHOTOS ON THE SITE?

There are two reasons that the pattern you receive may differ slightly from the photos on our site. First, all of our flies are hand-tied and each of our patterns evolve with feedback we receive over time so there may be some small changes between the patterns as they are photographed on our site and the ones you receive in your order. Second, where possible we try to use natural materials with variable coloring that imitates the variegated coloring of most prey species in a way that solid color, dyed materials can’t replicate.

We’ll do our best to keep the photos on the site up-to-date but we promise that any changes made to the pattern will always be based on real feedback with the intention of improving the fishability of the pattern, not for cost-savings.

WHEN WILL THE PATTERN I WANT BE BACK IN STOCK?

We try our best to keep our permanent patterns in stock but demand sometimes exceeds our tying capacity, particularly around the beginning of Tarpon season. We generally try to restock out-of-stock patterns every few weeks.

Seasonal and Bench patterns are produced in small batches and only available for a limited time.

If a pattern is out of stock but you need to place an order, get in touch with us via our Custom Order page and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING POLICIES

Your flies will ship in a cardboard box to reduce plastic waste. Most standard orders ship in two to three business days after production (see lead time in your order confirmation for an estimate of production time). Custom orders require eight weeks to fulfill unless otherwise noted during the ordering process.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Fly orders of $100 or more ship for free via USPS First Class Package Service. Fly orders of less than $100 ship for a flat $5.75 fee anywhere in the US. We utilize USPS First Class Package Service because of it’s reliability and sustainability.

You will receive a Shipping Confirmation email the day your order ships which will include tracking and an estimated delivery date.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We do not ship internationally.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Returns are allowed for items in new condition within 7 days of receipt. Email us at returns@twoaught.com with questions or to request a return. A re-stocking fee may apply on returned orders of more than a dozen flies. Absolutely no returns or refunds for custom orders.

CANCELING ORDERS

Email us at sales@twoaught.com to request a cancellation before your order ships. Once your order has shipped please follow the instructions above for returning your order. We reserve the right to withhold a re-stocking fee equal to the credit card processing fee on your order if you cancel. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once paid.

WHY CAN’T I PLACE AN ORDER?

Periodically we will close our order window by when we’ve received enough orders to push our lead time beyond six weeks. Once we’ve cleared the backlog of orders, we will reopen the order window.

If our order window is closed but you need to place an order, get in touch with us via our Custom Order page and we’ll get back to you with details on our current delivery timeframe based on your needs.
